Why I started PMP.
I grew up with a brother who has Down syndrome, so navigating disability supports has always been part of family life. I've seen what works, what doesn't, and how stressful it gets when the system doesn't show up for you.
That's why I started PMP. Plan Management should make life easier — not add another thing to chase.
— Aaron, Founder & Plan Manager
What makes us different from a big plan manager.
Four things that matter when you're picking who looks after your NDIS plan.
Real people who actually care
Real people, here to help. We'll take the time to understand your NDIS plan with you, answer your questions properly, and guide you through whatever comes up.
Family-run, with lived experience
PMP was started out of lived experience with disability and the NDIS. We know how stressful navigating supports can be — because we've been on the other side of it ourselves.
Invoices paid in 2–3 days
Most plan managers take a week or more. We pay your support providers in 2–3 business days, so your supports keep running smoothly without chasing.
Free under your NDIS plan
Plan management is fully funded by the NDIS. There's no out-of-pocket cost to you, and the funding doesn't come out of your support budget.
What is NDIS plan management?
We handle the money side of your NDIS plan, so you can focus on your supports and your life.
How NDIS plan management works
It’s funded on top of your plan
Plan management is paid for by the NDIS under “Improved Life Choices”. The funding sits on top of your plan — it doesn’t come out of your support budget, and there’s never an out-of-pocket cost to you. If plan management is in your plan (or you ask for it at your next review), it’s yours to use.
Plan-managed vs self-managed vs agency-managed
Self-managing means you pay providers and claim from the NDIS yourself — full flexibility, but real paperwork. Agency-managed means the NDIA pays providers directly, but you can only use NDIS-registered providers. Plan-managed sits in the middle: you get the flexibility to use registered and unregistered providers, and we handle every invoice, claim and budget report for you.
Switching is simpler than you’d think
If you already have a plan manager, you can switch at any time. You sign up with us, we send a simple service agreement, and we guide you through notifying the NDIA and your old plan manager. Most families are fully switched within about a week.

Common questions about NDIS plan management.
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
What does a plan manager do?
An NDIS plan manager handles the financial side of your NDIS plan. We pay invoices from your support providers, track your budget so you don't run out, and make sure every claim follows the NDIS rules.
You stay in full control of who you see and what you spend on. We just take the paperwork off your plate.
How much does plan management cost?
Plan management is fully funded by the NDIS — there's no out-of-pocket cost to you. The funding is added to your plan on top of your supports under "Choice and Control", so it doesn't come out of your support budget.
Can I switch plan managers?
Yes — you can switch plan managers at any time, and the process is simple. Sign up with us, we'll send you a service agreement, and we'll guide you through letting your current plan manager and the NDIA know.
It usually takes about a week. Most families wish they'd switched sooner.
What's the difference between plan management and support coordination?
Plan management handles the money — paying invoices, tracking budgets, claiming with the NDIS.
Support coordination helps you find and connect with the right supports — choosing providers, building goals, navigating the system. They're separate funding categories in your plan and you can have both.
How fast do you pay invoices?
We pay support providers in 2–3 business days, almost always within the same week the invoice arrives. Most plan managers take a week or more — fast payment keeps your providers happy and your supports running smoothly.
Are you available outside Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast?
Yes — we look after NDIS participants Australia-wide, in every state and territory. Phone, email, video — whatever works for you. Same team, same fast service, no matter your postcode.
